We need your help and also Spread the Gospel at the same time!
This letter is being written to alert you of the situations that we are facing here at the Christian Bookstore in Suffolk, VA. We have been in business for over 35 years and God willing, we will continue to stay in business for many years to come. As most of you know, we have been doing everything possible to continue to stay in business to serve you, your families, and churches. We downsized our store last year to lower our overhead expenses and even had to cut some employee hours.

This is a trend that we cannot continue to do and remain in business!

Our sales have continued to decline over the past two years dramatically and we have already seen that this year is on pace to be lower than last year. This will eventually lead to store closure, unless something changes. We TRUST the Lord in all things, but at the same time, we need to alert you of our potential future unless our trends change. You, the customer, are the reason for us being in business and we are depending on you to help us remain in business. Also take note that we are not suggesting that we are closing any time in the near future, but we are trying to find an answer to these economic problems.

So here is how you can help us continue to shine a light in this dark world and it serves a two-fold purpose!



We are hoping that everyone who reads this letter and shops in our store will be willing to spend $10.00 extra per month and purchase 11 ESV New Testament Bibles. These Bibles retail for $1.99, but since we buy them in bulk we are able to sell them at $1.00 each! When you buy 10 ESV New Test. we will give you 1 free copy, making it a total of 11 bibles for $10.00.
During these tough times, people need the Word and promises of God more than any other time. We would hope that you would support us by purchasing 11 of these Bibles per month and handing them out or placing them on your desk at work and letting people take a free copy or two! We can also sell these Bibles by the case of 100 copies for $85.00. That's only 85 cents each! Churches can buy these by the case and encourage it's members to take a few every week for them to hand out during the week.
Please consider helping us make it through these tough times and spreading the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ at the same time! Our future is determined by Prayer and your support! Thank you for your past, current, and future business!
